Get on Board for Train Rides in Orlando
All aboard! It’s time to discover Orlando’s array of trains for fun and transportation. There are a number of trains that take you on fun scenic rides through various theme parks and other entertainment locations. Gatorland is a great place to visit and learn about gators and other local animals. You can also go behind the scenes when you take the Gatorland Express train. Driven by an experienced conductor, this train shows you some different views of the park, while you listen to tales of Gatorland’s history, including the original train, the Iron Horse Express, which first powered around the park in 1961, making it one of the first amusement park rides in the state! You’ll even get to see the original as you head to the park’s train station.
When you visit the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens, take a break and set out on The Champion, a miniature replica of an Atlantic Coast Line Railroad steamer. Fans of Harry Potter won’t want to miss The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort. You can catch a train at Platform 9 ¾ , which will take you where a two-park ticket unlocks train transportation for a trip from Universal Studios Florida to Hogsmeade Station at Universal Islands of Adventure.
