There are a number of trains that take you on fun scenic rides through various theme parks and other entertainment locations. Gatorland is a great place to visit and learn about gators and other local animals. You can also go behind the scenes when you take the Gatorland Express train. Driven by an experienced conductor, this train shows you some different views of the park, while you listen to tales of Gatorland’s history, including the original train, the Iron Horse Express, which first powered around the park in 1961, making it one of the first amusement park rides in the state! You’ll even get to see the original as you head to the park’s train station.
When you visit the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens, take a break and set out on The Champion, a miniature replica of an Atlantic Coast Line Railroad steamer. As you tour around the zoo, you’ll see some of the beautiful natural Florida landscapes that are one of the reasons to visit the state. You can rest your feet while still having a great time on this timeless train.
Take a train ride around Icon Park, which is a 20-acre open-air entertainment complex. As well as the attractive scenery, you’ll see the many shops, restaurants and attractions you can visit.
If you want to do some sightseeing further afield, you can take the Brightline, Orlando’s first rapid rail system. Ideal for day trips, this express train connects Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Miami, with a number of smart stations along the route for a relaxing way to get around the state.
Fans of Harry Potter won’t want to miss The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort. You can catch a train at Platform 9 ¾ , which will take you where a two-park ticket unlocks train transportation for a trip from Universal Studios Florida to Hogsmeade Station at Universal Islands of Adventure.
These are just some of the many train rides to enjoy in Central Florida and there’s even the Central Florida Railroad Museum in Winter Garden. Of course, you’ll find a variety of train rides in the many theme parks, so make your reservations today for the FantasyWorld Resort villas in Kissimmee and get ready to ride the rails!Tags: Kissimmee Condo, Kissimmee vacation, Orlando Vacation Packages, Orlando vacation resort, Resort Tips
