On Saturday, March 24, at 10 am, Florida Technical College will host its annual Kissimmee Spring Eggstravaganza. The festive fun takes place at the college, located at 3831 W Vine Street. Among the entertainment on hand will be an Easter basket raffle giveaway, a chance to take your picture with the Easter Bunny, live music, and much more. And of course there will be an Easter egg hunt!

When you combine BBQ and a birthday celebration, you know you’re going to have a good time! The annual Kowtown Festival, hosted by the city of Kissimmee, is celebrating the city’s 135th anniversary. The event, which starts at noon on Saturday, March 24, at the Kissimmee Lakefront Park, will feature the Kissimmee Valley Rib Rodeo, which is a sanctioned BBQ competition, so you know the food will be good. There will also be a hot dog eating contest, live performances, plenty of entertainment, and don’t forget the birthday cake!

So start your day with an Easter Eggstravaganza and finish it off with some mighty fine BBQ and birthday cake along the Kissimmee Lakefront Park, which is an attraction in its own right.
