Halloween Tricks and Treats

If you’re heading to Central Florida for Halloween, what better reason to choose the FantasyWorld vacation villas in Kissimmee Florida. Our spacious villas give you plenty of room to get dressed up in your costumes, ensuring you don’t miss any of the fun of this favorite time of year. Plenty of theme parks and local attractions are hosting a range of Halloween entertainment filled with tricks and treats, so pick your favorites and start planning those costumes!

If you’re going to be here On October 29, don’t miss Kissimmee’s own Boo! on Broadway, a free  celebration along Kissimmee Main Street. Starting at 6 pm, you can show off those fantastic costumes, as well as collect candy, visit Adventures in Booville, watch the Great Kissimmee Car Race, and don’t forget to figure out a way to get selfies with the stilt walkers!

Of course, the theme parks are hosting a variety of events from now until Halloween. SeaWorld has its regular daytime special events, but this year they’re introducing a brand new evening event. Howl-O-Scream is a separate-ticket event held on select nights Friday, Sept. 10 through Sunday, Oct. 31 from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. This brand new event looks to be spooktacular with a haunted house, not to mention the roaming haunts called Frozen Terror where subhuman walkers swarm the crowds. There’s also Beneath the Ice, featuring the icy wilderness of the Arctic Circle. In addition, a brand new show called Monster Stomp features Jack the Ripper taking the stage with a modern rock and rhythm spectacular. If you’re not shivering enough as it is, grab a frosty drink at the icy themed bar, Tormented.

Universal Orlando Resort is the place for those who really want some thrills, chills, and screams. Halloween Horror Nights take place on select nights Friday, Sept. 3 to Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, and require a separate ticket from general admission. You’ll find rows of haunted houses lining the streets, plus you can experience some of your favorite scary movies in a whole new way. Walk through The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives, Beetlejuice, and more. On top of it all, there’s live entertainment, special scare zones, and plenty of spooky food and drink to keep you going. There’s also a new experience … if you dare. The Haunting of Hill House is an all-new maze inspired by the recent Netflix series. This elevated experience walks you through the chilling story that follows the Crain family. Will you be able to make it out or will you become one of the house’s permanent residents!

Finally, if you need something a little less scary for the little ones — or yourself — Legoland and Disney World have you covered. Legoland, every Saturday and Sunday in October, offers trick or treating around the park, frightfully fun characters, and meet and greets with ghoulish LEGO characters. You also get to enjoy larger than afterlife LEGO builds and special holiday decorations.

Disney World is hosting the Boo Bash Tuesday, Aug. 10 through Sunday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m., with a separate ticket required. Some of Disney’s best villains and the not-so-villainous will be parading through Main Street USA, including Mickey’s Happy Halloween, Disney Villains Halloween, and Jack’s Nightmare. There will also be some spooky performances, character sightings, and to take the edge off, a wealth of candy and special treats, including ice cream and popcorn. Twenty regular attractions will also be open, this time with a few spooky additions.

These are just some of the many Halloween-themed events taking place already or starting soon. If you’re going to be visiting during the Halloween period, be sure to pack your favorite costume and make the most of the spacious FantasyWorld vacation villas in Kissimmee Florida!
