Fall Family Fun in Kissimmee
Fall is a great time to visit Central Florida. If a haunted house is too much for you, there’s still free trick or treating, a costume contest, and thriller dancers to get you in the spirit.
Fun Spot America – Kissimmee has thrills for every level, ensuring the whole family enjoys this family-owned theme park with more than 20 rides to match everyone’s daring. Some of the big thrills include the multi-level go-kart tracks, Florida’s only wooden rollercoaster with a 360-degree inversion, and soaring from 300 feet on the world’s tallest Sky Coaster. There’s also Fright Bites, trick or treating that takes place every Saturday and Sunday in October and on Halloween night starting at 4 p.m.
A big fall favorite is the Partin Ranch Corn Maze. It opens October 15 and takes place every weekend in October and the first weekend of November, weather permitting. You’ll find five-acres of adventure, with a maze that will require the family to work together through all of the twists and turns. For the little ones in your family, there’s a special mini-maze, so no one is left out. To add to the fall fun, there’s a pumpkin patch, hayrides, a corn cannon, a kids’ zip line, and on the last weekend of October, there’s a trick or treat weekend and kids in costumes, ages 3-12, get in free that weekend.
Finally, for one last Halloween thrill, head to The Florida Mall, where you can have a ghoulishly creepy experience in the safety of your own car! Scream n’ Stream Drive-Thru Haunt is a premiere drive-through haunted attraction where you go through seven horror movies, surrounded by creepy special effects and plenty of scary actors! Don’t forget to stop by The Lobby for snacks, exclusive merchandise, and some selfies with the scare actors.
