If you’re going to be in Kissimmee on April 13, head to the Florida Technical College from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. As well as an egg hunt, visitors will get to enjoy live music and enter a raffle for an egg-ceptional Easter Basket.

If you’re in town for Easter weekend, don’t miss the annual Eggs-traordinary Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20 at Spring Park and Heritage Hall at the Celebration Town Center. From 8:45 a.m. to 10 a.m, children up to 10 years old will get to partake in the big egg hunt, provided they bring their own basket. There will be thousands of eggs to find, so everyone is sure to come away happy. Plus, there will be live music, entertainment, and even a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Easter Dining

With all of those eggs around, it’s no surprise that Easter brunch is always a popular choice. This year, the Kissimmee Bay Country Club is hosting a delicious brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you have children with you, the club is also hosting an egg hunt at noon. If you have a die-hard golfer with you, you can pair brunch with a round of golf and save on the cost of your meal. There is something for everyone to enjoy! Be sure to make reservations in advance to ensure a place at this popular brunch.

If you prefer dinner to brunch, even at 11 a.m., head to Columbia Restaurant, which will be serving its complete dinner menu all day long. They will also be serving up a few Easter specials, including a Virginia baked ham and Dali, a generations-old recipe for a domestic lean leg of lamb with red wine, garlic, lemon, and oregano, roasted in rich gravy. While walk-ins are welcome at Columbia, for this special occasion, reservations are recommended.

Easter Eggstravaganza

Finally, for one of the best on-going celebrations, don’t miss the Easter Eggstravaganza at Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center. Throughout April, until Easter itself, the resort transforms into Easter Central.  In the atrium, you’ll find enormous painted eggs, plus, there will be spring-colored kaleidoscope light displays, and a variety of fun events such as Hop-A-Long Pool Parties, Easter Bunny Scavenger Hunts, and Easter Tea Parties in the Mad Tea Escape Room, which includes fun-filled riddles to solve. Also, on select dates, there is The Royal Egg Court Character Breakfast, which includes games, music, and a delicious breakfast with characters such as King of Easter, Candy Countess, and the Earl of Chocolate. Finally, the Easter Bunny will be taking photos and handing out surprises every weekend through April 21.
