Looking for a special way to celebrate New Year’s Eve while vacationing at Fantasy World Resort in Kissimmee FL? Look no further than Walt Disney World – it’s nearby, easy to get to and has some exciting events for the entire family.

Some of your options include:

• Magic Kingdom. Enjoy “Wishes,” a fireworks show with live performers, music, narration, colors and images projected onto Cinderella Castle, at 7:30 p.m. A special New Year’s fireworks show is scheduled for 11:50 p.m.
• Fantasia 2014 at Epcot World ShowPlace. The whole family will enjoy an enchanting celebration featuring the popular music and magical scenes from Fantasia. The dinner buffet includes an assortment of soups and salads, delicious entrees, a yummy dessert station, and plenty of offerings planned especially for kids. After dinner, enjoy the World ShowPlace promenade and the Illusions fireworks spectacular.
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Special music and entertainment throughout the evening, including performances by the live band “Mulch, Sweat and Shears,” capped by fireworks at midnight.

Animal Kingdom will not have any special New Year’s Eve events.

Some things you’ll want to keep in mind before leaving your resort in Kissimmee FL for Disney: Alcoholic beverages are not available at the Magic Kingdom but are sold at Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Details and hours are subject to change by Disney, and admission to the parks may close when they reach maximum capacity. Weather in Florida this time of year is unpredictable.
