Orlando Holiday FAQ’s
What else do we need to book for our Orlando holiday besides the villa and flight?
You don’t need to buy theme park tickets in advance, or show up at the gate to get them. Instead, purchase tickets from our concierge desk in the lobby. The only thing you may want to book ahead of time is a Character dining experience at one of the Walt Disney World parks or hotels. These are a treat, especially if you have young children! You can choose between breakfast, lunch or dinner, depending on where you go, and which character you want to meet while you eat. (There are usually 4 characters.) Most meals are buffet-style, which are a bit more expensive than other restaurants, but you can eat as much as you want! To guarantee a table, you will need reservations. These can be made up to 180 days in advance, so call right away!
I just booked a 10 night holiday to Orlando on 25 March 2010. What are the chances of the parks being busy?
Spring Break and Easter are popular times of year for the theme parks. But don’t worry. You can have plenty of fun! Just plan on visiting the parks that open earliest in the morning, and then spend your evening hours in the parks that open late. During the day, you can relax at your resort/hotel, go for a swim or play a round of mini golf.

What is your opinion about an Orlando-type holiday?
If your idea of fun is roller coasters, rides and theme park attractions, there’s no better place than Orlando. Choose from Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World, plus several water parks. Busch Gardens is a bit farther, but still doable as a day trip. If the ocean is more your style, you can reach Cocoa Beach in about an hour. And Kennedy Space Center is also nearby if you want to do something different. With several options to choose from, you’re sure to please everyone in your group!
Is Orlando a good holiday destination?
Orlando is an amazing place to vacation, with so much to see and do, or simply to spend time relaxing at your resort/ hotel! The main attractions are Disney World, Sea World or Universal Studios… each with their own theme parks and water parks. But that’s just the beginning. You can go to the beach - Cocoa is 45 minutes away and Daytona is about an hour and a half. Clearwater is also within driving distance as well. What’s Orlando like for a holiday?
Orlando is great for everyone. The theme parks are fun during the day, while at night you can head over to Downtown Disney for great dining, shopping or a Cirque de Soleil show. Disney World is not just for kids either. Did you know it’s one of the top honeymoon destinations? It’s truly a magical destination, one that you can visit again and again. I have been going there since I was a little girl. I’m now 26, and am taking my husband and children there in December.
